The downtown historic district is now reaching a tipping point where the threat of continued new construction could both overshadow the restored historic district and turn a charming family-friendly street into a congested, overdeveloped urban center. Our aim is to invite greater citizen participation to keep this from happening to our downtown. MainStreet Matters has been designed to keep citizens informed and advise them of events that could endanger our beloved downtown.
